At Greener Pastures Farms we raise all our livestock including Heritage hogs, Pastured poultry & Heritage hens spend their whole lives on our farm from birth to processing . Our hogs roam freely in our silvo pasture system grazing on native wild forage & grasses. Rebecca & Ben’s farming methods and beliefs help to conserve and protect the land and respect the animals from birth through processing. After the animals are processed, the meats are available for purchase through our online farm store, farmers markets & the farm stand at Laughing Child Farm in Pawlet VT.

About Us.
My name’s Rebecca, although I did not grow up on a farm I always knew I wanted to be involved in agriculture somehow, someway. I started this crazy journey officially in the winter 2018, after tossing the idea around with Ben, my now Husband.
Fast forward to 2023, We are now officially a “family” farm with welcoming our first born Son Lochlan. With the support of our customers near and far through our local farmers markets, Farm Shares & online ordering, you’ve all had a part in helping our son be raised on the farm. Although not always easy, we are so grateful that Lochlan is able to be apart of this lifestyle & go to tend animals everyday.
I, Rebecca have always been involved In agriculture. From 4-H, agricultural college, to Milk sale's and agri-tourism centers. I've always loved pigs and had worked closely with them in years past. It's one of the only animals I felt was manageable on a small scale.
All of our animals are raised on rotated pastures and thick maple bush in Southern Vermont. They are fed a local rationed grain diet and local hay cut right down the road from where we farm, by supporting us you are supporting many local farms & businesses along the way.
Specially packaged for shipping, GREENER PASTURES Meats can be purchased individually by-the-cut or in special combination boxes curated for you by what is in season.
If you’re interested in a monthly subscription box, The Greener Pastures Farm Share CSA offers customized boxes based on the size of your family and your cooking preferences. Registration to the Farm Club is limited.
