we raise all of our mangalitsa cross heritage pork and chicken on rotated pastures in Pawlet VT !

They live the high life of turnips, clover, rye, acorns and veggies for their foraging pleasure. They are also fed a local supplemental grain diet. When purchasing from us you are supporting many other local small businesses along the way.

 

At Greener Pastures our hogs &. poultry spend their whole lives roaming freely and grazing Greener Pastures grasses. Becca & Ben’s farming practices and beliefs help to preserve and protect the land and respect the animals from birth through processing.

You know what days fridays are ?! CSA days !
One of our biggest practices is keeping everything as local as possible. Grain, hay, supplies and processing comes all from within 30 miles. That’s local my friends! This weeks chicken processing !
