Vermont Summer : A blend of Lavender & Lemongrass with hints of Patchouli will have you reminiscing of those breezy summer days soaking up all of the boutiques that Vermont has to offer.
Greener Pastures cold process lard soap is our farm pasture raised lard blended with sustainably sourced oils. We never test on animals and use eco-friendly packaging.
Using animal fats in soap making can be traced back to almost 5,000 years! As awesome as it is to use “old world” ingredients in modern time that is not the reason we offer a lard based soap. We believe in not wasting any part of an animal that we raise on our homestead. I take all of our fat and render it into delicious leaf lard for baking and back fat for our soaps.
Lard soaps offer many benefits to our skin and provide a lovely lather and hard bar which lasts a long time in the shower.
A true pasture-to-shower experience!
All of our animals and soap are raised and made in Pawlet Vermont.
